Shimmee

Forever ago ... during the 90's at Venue Keele K2 for several years the monthly party Of parties was Shimmee. During this time we hosted Faithless, Way out West & a bunch of the then top named DJ's. Dan & Jim of the Scallywag Yoof, along with myself then known as 'Shimmee' regularly blew the roof off the venue with House, Techno and Trance. I figure most everyone has 'that club place' which they will never forget as it brought them so many memories. For me I took how the Rave and Acid House parties that influenced me as an original 'raver', places like, Braintree Barn, Sunrise Back to the Future, Biology, Rat Pack Trip City, Labyrinth, Heaven, Rage and Wizard of Oz and rolled that vibe into Shimmee. On the other side of the decks it was our job to provide the most love possible ... those that know Shimmee have a part of it inside them still and I have a part of them forever a part of myself.
